Dilla Time is great
not fully hip hop, but Richard Russell, founder of XL recordings has a dope memoir too, "liberation through hearing" really enjoyed it.
Also Rap Capital is a great biography of the ATL scene in the past decade or so
My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy
Wretched, Pitiful, Poor, Blind and Naked (Malice)
I have read Ross' memoir but it came off quite image concious/insecure about not being perceived as gangster. Some decent stories but not sure I'd recommend.

P is my pick for the GOAT most days so I'll try and track this one down.
Ive read most of 50’s books which is about 3?
And the Donda West Book.
Most rappers ain’t that interesting tbh

especially since a story n breakdown of him being a regular dude that gets accepted and found his way into hiphop's most inner circle would be a way more interesting, compelling and inspiring telling - n unique

Sure, he basically uses the memoir to respond to the whole Officer Ricky stuff 50 started in 2009 and tries his hardest to spin it as "just a job" while he was selling d****. Whether he is telling the truth or not I do not know but I remember the whole part in the memoir reading as very image conscious/self-snitching for a gangster image.
