Different ppl hav it for diff reasons
    Cld b ur diet
    Or lack of sleep
    Hormones still
Excess oil production from dry skin
Clogged pores from products u use
Or just time to try a new skin routine

I dont use a super strong cleanser, just the cerave salicylic acid one followed by the the kate somerville eradikate sulfur wash at night

Then i tone (rovectin), la roche posay effaclar serum (really good), cosrx mucin, cerave moisturizer, la neige water sleepinf mask

And i do retinol pads every few days/ vit c serum

Bro I’m about to be 30 and I still get f***ing acne. Even cystic acne sometimes

I do good at managing it and it doesn’t really get in the way of my confidence anymore but it’s still pretty f***ing annoying. I still have some scarring from when I was younger that I plan on getting laser treatment for in the future. Any tips? I literally wash my face 3 times a day, use a toner / treatment morning and night, use sun screen, and I still get acne…

I’m thinking maybe it’s my diet because I’m not the cleanest eater but some people eat like s*** and have beautiful skin

Cut the junk food, soda, and alcohol.
    Drink more water
    Get more sleep

    You'll see the big difference

honestly feel like acne might just be genetics cause i never really had acne as a teen and still don’t and i don’t have some elaborate 8 step face care routine or do anything special like that

also have a friend who had horrible acne as a teen and still does as an adult and bro actually cares/has a skincare routine etc so

    Don't overwash your face

    Do you use a cleanser?

No, but then again, I take blazing hot showers
No germs surviving with how hot I run my showers

I have cystic acne. One time when I was a teenager a pimple got infected with a staff infection and i almost lost my eye You can’t really see my acne because it’s not red. It’s gotten better with age, but it’s still there. I have some bad scarring by my ears but people ive dated never knew what it was until i told them. Nothing too bad on my face. It’s a nuisance

Never had acne but dairy used to f*** up my skin whenever I consumed it.
But it took me til my late teens-start of 20s to see the correlation.
If your acne is sporadic you should keep track of what you eat/drink, it might be dairy, it might be something else

Mainly on my back but not terrible.

I would like to go see someone for my scars but money is a little tight right now.

@op drink more water. Eat more greens. Wash face in the am and pm. But I get it sometimes there is nothing you can do and that’s okay.

alot of it is your diet
try eliminating all sugar and processed food from your diet for 2 weeks and then see if anything improves

Dropping milk removed 99% of my acne, even though I still consume other dairy products like cheese and yogurt. Skin has never been more clear 🔥

Aged cheeses are fine. Other cheeses will get you the cystic acne.

And very important: same for lactose/milk in other non-dairy products. Read the ingredients of what you consume and see if you got any of those.
