To me it's like hes painting a picture with words like a vignette, like get the gist of what hes saying type s***. Its not that easy to interpret

Nah it's pretty simple if you actually pay attention to lyrics in rap...which you should if you listen to rap music.
But in a time where someone like Yeat can get praised even though they literally don't be saying s*** I guess people get overwhelmed by niggas actually expressing thought and emotion in their lyrics.

It's really not. Having read these lyrics annotated on Genius back to front it's very different from my first impressions* - me who knew Earl's upbringing told in fragments throughout his discography
Please stop trying to reduce this to simplicity - you do Earl a disservice
*this is just how poetry works. You should not try to gather meaning on your first readthrough or even your second or third
