Make “conscious” albums that are both applicable to a mainstream landscape, one a bit more relatively than the other obviously.

From a purely mainstream perspective Common had to flop with Electric Circus so Kendrick could remain afloat with tpab. as we know Jay has always been too risk averse to do something like that

they tryna overcompensate cus its the first time they realized racism exists

GKMC is more of a traditional hip hop album so I think that's more fair game.

I'd definitely rank RD, Black Album, and Blueprint over GKMC. GKMC prob better than all of Hov's other albums though.
