someone just posted a thread about the songs from Kendrick's new album not really making the cut for his upcoming shows this year.
Do you think an artist who has a fanbase that loves their catalog should mostly play new tracks for tour (letting down longtime fans) or would you want them to fill the set with tried and true "crowd pleasers" and pretty much just add a couple cuts from the newer works for the people who appreciate their new stuff?

additionally does this change how you hear the new music knowing that the artist would not perform it on tour in favor of their old songs?
