    No

But when I was younger people used to talk about Biggie and Pac as equals. It feels like over the last 10 years people have stopped talking about Biggie as much.

    That annoys me

We can talk all day about Pac tryna be something he's not (and that can be validated, yeah, claiming Piru in your 20s aint the smartest thing) but yall say studio gangsta but I aint never seen one of these "real" gangsters actually shoot a cop that was drunk and harassing them

    That's pretty gangsta to me.

Wet a pig up and beat the case that’s enough to be a goat on its own never mind 3+ classic albums and having possibly the biggest impact of any rapper ever

    That annoys me

Cause Biggie didn't have an extensive catalog

Pac had music, movies, controversy, political activities. Biggie had what, two albums?

  • Oct 14, 2021

Pac was a case study and at the time an embodiment of young black men in America. Flaws and all.
His experience in the performance arts was dramatic but it helped amplify his motives. It gave him a range no other rapper has gone besides IMO Kanye West.

It's difficult to look back on someone so influential and realise how unique they were at the time when they've shaped their genre.

And nobody’s missing out on much when it comes to your posts since KTT1

Go rehire one of the 6 other dumbass Brits that don’t know s*** about hip hop that ran your account. Or did they all finally get jobs? Your disrespect for a genre you don’t care about isn’t getting passes anymore now that you’re not even clever or funny about it

One of the worst career developments in KTT history

Pac is the book definition of a legend. He has so many stories regarding songs l,altercations and his life that people continue to speculate about till this day. And as far as him being a studio gangster,if he was,he definitely wasn’t the type of studio gangster op is thinking about(like 6-9) If you tested Tupac back then(especially in the Death Row days)you had it coming,he was more gangster than a lot of these dudes now.

Bro represented what a street rapper was back in the day for most people. Pac is what Boosie strives to be and he isn’t even 1/10th of what Pac was to the rap industry.

    cult

he wasnt even a good rapper and ill die on this hill

dudes average at best, ppl d*** ride him too much . He is just an icon and i cant knock him for that, he came with something different

but his fans ignore how he was a violent thug and rapist , who would scream about "peace" and act like an intellectual , i guess the secret to advancing the black community is by fondling and forcing urself on black women

bro what, this is one of the worst takes ever and clearly from someone who's heard about tupac and never actually tried to understand him

    TIIMMY BURNER

That's so much of this site. I get s*** on every turn because I don't s***, immediately and violently, on anyone that's committed crime or be accused of a crime. Even their idols like flower boy have proven to have his own flaws and came up trying to say the darkest s*** possible. I've seen a lot of broken people in my life and call a broken place home, and that's what rap comes from.

It's people like DMX, Pac, Jay, Pun, that made way for rappers like Tecca to eventually change the culture and bring in outsiders. But before Lil Nas X, those were the damaged individuals rap was built on the back of and these new fans seem to forget it.

You tell me an artist in the MAINSTREAM making hits out of songs like Keep Ya Head Up, Dear Mama, Thugs Mansion, Brenda's Got A Baby, ect. That type of content as the biggest rapper out and making them hits is unheard of. Even Kendricks hits ain't like that.

This site is filled with people that didnt grow up with rap it’s so obvious. Even a lot of black kids on here are clueless about the history
