An album sale is 1500 streams.
In the first week, more people listen to the full album therefore its an indication of how much ppl f***ed wit the albums. That's why almost all songs streaming are up and close in numbers
In 6 months when her single with weekend is doing well, 1500 of that songs plays will calculate to album sales.
All I'm saying is of course an album with popular singles will have longer legs because when ppl stop supporting the album they will stream the singles and that will make it seem like the album is selling.
TPAB is a perfect example. Did well first week but lacked singles to carry the album over 2x platinum. Kendrick during that era was bigger than sp many names that eventually outstreemed TPAB.

Except they are? Of course she could beg fans to purchase outright like Bieber and them but deluxe's are the more dignified way of trying to push the numbers. I can't think of any other reason why she would drop a deluxe the next day other other than pushing for first week numbers.

Streams are sales equivalent but if someone streams a song 1500 it doesn't mean they would've purchased the album.
That's why first week sales are more indicative of album support.
