The term alternative black doesn’t even actually exist in 2020. Black kids can be whoever they want to be without catching s***. This term was more so for black boys/girls who were into more alternative s*** in terms of things like music, skateboarding, lacrosse, goth, emo, etc. Back when anything deemed ‘white’ wasn’t acceptable. That narrative has been dead for over a decade at this point now not sure why people still try to coin it.
