It is true tho that our generation is the most stressed, idk how much if it is because of hours spent working tho

krishna boundi dont hate her as much as a lot of people on here seem to but this is just pure entitlement, if you don't want to work retire and give your money to a hedge fund, you have more money probably offhand than most people make in their lifetime

@op’s theory about the new generation not being productive is untrue. If anything they’re the most worked Americans in history while simultaneously being the most underpaid. It’s simply the ability to express your extreme burnout with you peers in honesty through social media that creates such false perceptions
You’re missing a gigantic factor in technology here. Advances in that aspect allow us to be 1000x more productive. If this graph didn’t look like it did I’d be seriously concerned

Once again, the introduction of technology has led to a slow and steady process for like 40 years, it doesn’t lead to a massive boost in productivity but it aids it

Not to say being in the limelight 24/7 isn’t hard/stressful, but back in the day an album was promoted for years, with everything from magazines, to award show performances, music video shooting after another, just to go on a world-tour. Look how crazy MJ‘s schedule in the 80s was, Whitney/Mariah in the 90s and Bey in the 00s. Beyoncé is probably the last one of a dying breed of artists going this crazy.

It doesn’t matter if it’s automated, just replacing paper documentation by computers has been a paradigm shift for businesses. Literally thousands of working hours saved with one instance. And there have been a thousand advances just like that.
