huge dom stan and I can admit he isn’t what he used to be but I always gotta give him the benefit of the doubt and I’ll always make threads for his new s*** off the strength of his first 6-7 albums or whatever.
His last album was pretty dope, but like you're saying, it lacks that certain UMPH that his old s*** had.
Always ready for new Dom though, always hopeful for another classic

Last two albums were mid my boy.
Plus Addicted to the Underground and the Half A Mil s***.
It's been 5 years since By Dom Kennedy. That was his last dope album.
Honestly, his flow just started to come off tired and contrived.
I liked what he did on Born To Rap and I think.if anyone can slide right back into his old lane, its Dom

this his most recent verse and he finally rapping on beat and rhyming his bars again so there’s hope
dude also been previewing a couple tracks/fts on his ig live the past few months that sounded closer to his old s***
Please drop this or next week
Let’s f***ing go! He had some bars on that hit boy collab this year.
Also LA is not for sale is fire
tbh it’s way too many fire songs
just start w from the Westside w love or yellow album (which is a ktt favorite.. personally not a top dom album to me tho) and if you don’t like those you prolly not gonna like the rest
If you do like those two then peep future d*** sounds and og dom kennedy and from the Westside w love 2 as well
pretty much his first like 6-7 projects are summertime classics
Yellow album his best album too me. Top 5 westcoast albums oat next to doggystyle Gkmc and the chronic
This nigga.
Smh.
I hated Half A Mil.
By Dom Kennedy is his last dope project. I keep checking for him hoping he can get it back. He was decent on Games album.
I felt the same but the project he dropped earlier this year Also Known As was actually a step back in the right direction IMO...sounded like old Dom on quite a bit of that...still believe that was a Hit-Boy/Half A Mil type collab joint though so time will tell if he can hold down a solo project again
Thought the HitBoy collab album was pretty damn good
Features on Game and Big Sean albums was good as well
Has me excited for Dom again. Need this tracklist!
he hasn't been the same for me in a long time but im always willing to give him a chance off the strength of his 08-13 output
Yellow Album is his magnum opus
I wanted him to sign with MMG and evolve further with that sound that was kinda 90's/00's but it didn't reach, it was like the 2012 evolution of it

Listen to Half-A-Mil2 with HitBoy.
He's back bro. Trust

I peeped those it’s better than his solo recent output but it’s still not that 08-13 vibe lyrically
