that's why I don't get how some of y'all are saying he's a bad rapper, he rapped for Years before anyone knew he could sing.
I feel like his rap verses are not insane or top of the game but he's really a pretty decent rapper. just way better at singing

I'm glad I saved Dancing In The Courthouse, I would have been upset there's not more of this vibe on the album

Mona Lisa is a banger so I'm gonna spin that one for some years and not get tired

was really a big fan of his first album and this is really clicking. It's not similar to WCPCW but I still enjoy it a lot

It's a little too cute and pleasant and light for me personally. It's so polished. Reminds me of some 00s stuff I can't quite put my finger on. Probably because it's so varied. One of those songs is def RHCP.

I've been listening to a lot of Jeff Rosenstock and Kozelek tho. This feels a lot more broad and kind of targeted in a pop way- which makes sense. Might just not be for me. I thought 4x4 into Frisky was strong. Only song that I thought was an embarrassing misfire was Dancing in the Courthouse.

This is such a great listen man, WCPGW is pretty much flawless to me and somehow I feel like this hasn’t met me down at all. Looking forward to listening to this a lot more!
