I appreciate all of his albums for different reasons, I think he hasn’t had a bad album yet. But I also think he hasn’t locked in enough yet to drop The one, the one that takes him to the next level of acclaim. He totally has the potential to do so someday though.

i dont think he has a bad album either. hardstone was a grower for me, whereas the first 3 i liked almost instantly

This is a good assessment. Hardstone was his weakest effort for me but plenty of gems on there.

So true on not yet having the one. But I think he has that in him which is pretty rare among newer artists.
