its fire tho
HoH was good but wasn't quite the explosive debut he had been hyping it up to be
We had already heard 3 of the tracks - CFML, Had Enough & No Idea. Only getting 9 new tracks on a debut project felt a little bit underwhelming to me at the time.
Hoping he diversifies the production and guest features up on L.O.A.D. more so. the production felt too Travis-esque for him to be able to really carve out his own sound.
Have to give serious credit to the outro's on Candy & Company though
and euphoria leaked beforehand
also cardigan and afterparty were partially leaked or just snippets or whatever but its still a dope album i think that the new one will make him pop
its fire tho
ok on second look the painting of them is fine its just the flowers that throws it completely off

As it’s been told before, Don Toliver, whose debut album, L.O.A.D. (Life of a Don), drops this July, began creating music at age 17 with no prior knowledge or guidance on what to do. Now at 26, Toliver’s single from the upcoming debut, “What You Need”, is bouncing around and his name holds weight—he’s someone to know and someone whom everyone wants to work with (recently including the likes of Rico Nasty, Gucci Mane, Big Sean, Nas, the list goes on). “It took time,” he recalls. “It wasn’t an overnight thing at all. I had to do a lot, but it feels good to get here.”
