The democrats did whatever they wanted in the house. Block the republicans witnesses, didn't allow Trump lawyers till months into the Impeachment after they already did they little basement hearings.
The Dems set the rules in the house and the republicans did the same to them in the senate.
So the democrats in the house had all the time they needed to set forth a defense, and they shouldn’t have needed any new witnesses going into the senate. On top of that, they restricted republicans from testifying in the past so this is kinda payback. Am I getting it right
