most of TCJA directly benefits high income households or big businesses , which have shown in the past (and currently, wit the TCJA) to not pump any added revenue or money they receive from tax breaks back into the economy or use it for job growth in any substantial way (at least not in any manner that couldn’t have been done better) It doesn’t even help those currently employed moreso than it just helps line the pockets even more of those who don’t need it, as evidenced by how all the big businesses were touting wage increases, raises and benefits to get the deal passed and have since done none of that.

you can point at any current stat and claim it’s the direct result of trump policy but in the case of unemployment or the economy youd obviously be wrong. these things are easily fact checked, and if you look at any graph from the beginning of obama’s presidency following thru into Trumps, you can see that it is literally on the same exact trend it’s been on since the recession. there has been no spike following any policy Trump has done, and if anything unemployment is decreasing at a slightly lower rate following Trump taking office and the TCJA. if the trend is literally moving at the same exact pace as accomplished by Obama, how in the f*** is trump responsible for it and what is the point in constantly boasting about unemployment numbers when they aren’t even “your” numbers????? it’s the strangest f***ing thing, and as said before misleading because you are attributing incorrect causality behind how we got to the record low numbers to begin with.
