He's dividing the nation on purpose and people who criticize him for it are idiots?

You've fallen his actual trap, the "orange man bad trap".

"Oh I don't want to criticize him because I've seen a lot of other people illogically criticize him", unaware that these are rare and cherry picked by the right wing media in an attempt to scare people away from criticizing Trump.

You see here is a perfect example of what I was talking about. You get your feelings involved so much that you cannot think logically.

So you start twisting the words of people and start putting words in their mouth. This is something they do on the conservative and liberal side in the US, and they are getting more extreme by the day.

This obstructs the possibility of people across the political spectrum of having a real constructive discussion and coming to a solution.

I never said that people criticising him are idiots, but you said I did. or you thought I implied it. I think it's important that we criticize Trump and any politician that is doing something bad. and he sure as hell is doing something horrible to America, which is affecting the whole world too.

But when you start making fun of the way he stands, his appearance, the way he drinks water, when you start pushing narratives that aren't based in facts and you stop caring about the truth, as long as it slanders Trump. You are just hurting your own case and making the divide bigger. And the extreme conservative side is gonna use that against you.

People only slander him because that’s what he does to everyone else. It’s the only way to get under his skin. Which some people find hilarious.
Like what Nancy pelosi did when she called him overweight. It wasn’t anything major but he took it to heart even tho he calls people short, fat, ugly etc.

The post you replied to suggested that anyone complaining about Trumps conspiracy theory is b****ing. It's not b****ing, I explained to you why you agree with him and you start bringing up people who make fun of how he looks.

No one here is focusing on how he looks, this topic is not about how he looks, we're complaining that he's spreading fake news, someone says we're b****ing and you agree with him? You're falling into the "Orange Man Bad" trap, you never said they're idiots and im sorry for putting words in your mouth, but you're saying OP and everyone else in this topic is b****ing without actually defending what we're criticizing trump for, and that's pretty close to just calling someone an idiot.

I'm saying our criticism here is valid and that we're not b****ing, you're bringing up criticisms people have made of him years ago on other platforms to try and invalidate this one.

But we need to rise above and not fall down to his level. Using his tactics against himself is letting him change the whole landscape of politics

I might have misunderstood his comment I thought he was talking in general.

I'm not saying people are b****ing in this thread, I'm saying they're b****ing in general about irrelevant s*** Trump does like weird handshakes and just being a weird guy altogether. and that hurts the fight against Trump. It's like gossiping, u put yourself in a bad light and make yourself look patethic.

I'm done criticizing Trump and hating him because it drains me of energy, puts me in a bad mental state, and i'm just so desensitized to it all.

like are you guys really surpised? did you guys really expect Trump to condemn this incident? after he encouraged violence? after tear gassing peacful protesters and a priest for a photo op? after 57 cops resigned from the Riot unit in protest for the two disgusting officers responsible? after all the f***ed up s*** he did since coming into office?

it's respect that you guys still critizise him when he says f***ed up s*** though.

"Man it must get exhausting criticizing people for the mistakes they make, other people make mistakes too you know"

Guy literally went on live television more than a dozen times over the course of six years accusing Obama of faking his birth certificate and being born in Kenya, and the right wants to cry "fake news" when people are ever so slightly biased against Trump.

That’s why I said “both sides are guilty of it”?

    you’re a goofy

why do we have to live in a world where the way we feel about something HAS to be balanced.

yes, a lot of people are borderline obsessed with trump both people that hate him and those that love him

but i think there is absolutely nothing wrong with hating trump considering what he says, you may think it’s a huge strategy but it’s mostly his character. as a black man, i’ve hated him for the things he has said now regarding race relations and things he has said/done in the past.

did you see his treatment of the central park five?

It's a complete false equivalency and whataboutism. Any objective measurement of bias shows the right is currently orders of magnitude more irrational and willing to publish information they know is false than the left, which I understand makes me sound bias but I encourage you to do the research for yourself. Just because the left media is also bias does not immediately make them equal, there is an extremely clear pattern of intentional deception within the republican party that often comes from either their private donars or their own personal benefit.

Both sides f*** us on the daily while lining their own pockets, so why would I care which one I align myself with? We need to abolish the 2 party system and get some politicians that actually represent the interests of the people, because the only one we had just got purposely axed by the DNC for the second election cycle in a row... care to guess why?

Considering the fact that Trump’s opponent in the upcoming election doesn’t want to defund police either, I’d say it’s pretty obvious that neither establishment democrats nor republicans care about any of the people’s actual interests
