I agree with that. I think people who say "you can't blame religion; it's the fault of the individuals for using it to persecute people and promote ignorance" are being too dense though. In my mind the existence of religion as an organized form with a collective ideology towards real life circumstances that participants are expected to universally support is dangerous in itself.
