He already ruined his discography so might as well keep going at this point. Ideally he would’ve retired after MBDTF
How tf he released mad classics last year and some great singles this year
Yup.
I think "Yeezus" was his last great outing.
But he would've had the greatest discography oat if he tapped out after "MBDTF"/"WTT".
Well you’re just wrong because TLOP is one of the greatest albums ever made, any genre and is widely becoming accepted as such. And what about KSG? What about so much of ye and Donda? you really don’t think there’s amazing absolutely groundbreaking stuff there?

What you people need to understand is even if you’re not in love with every new release you need to recognize that he continues to push things. And not every album is going to be MBDTF. But Kanye is a Bowie or Dylan-like character. Just let him keep trying new things and making interesting records. No excusing Donda 2 though

"KSG's" a joint effort.
"TLOP" is mid af, has a s*** ton of filler.
The best joints off that record are the ones he dropped prior to the album's release through G.O.O.D. Friday's.
"Saint Pablo's" pretty decent too.
"ye" & "JIK" are snooze fests. Never return to those albums at all.
& "Donda" has its moments, but for it being a Kanye West record, it still doesn't capture that magic that his earlier outings did.
I'm glad he's found peace & sticks to his religion, but the subject matter's becoming taxing as a listener.
I know he's always gonna be straight from a sonic standpoint, but the problem at hand when it comes to his projects is.... Him
Dude can't rap for s*** anymore.
& before you give me "NMPILA", "Off The Grid" etc.
It just feels like the quirky, cocky Kanye we got from 04-2011's fallen off the face of the earth.
Sure, "KSG" is prob his best rapping since he got with Kim, but that's 1 project out of how many?
I'll always respect what he's done & look at him as one of the GOAT's, but (to me) he's tainting his legacy by putting out s*** that doesn't hold a candle to what I know he's capable of.

That’s all very fair
I love the “old Kanye” of course. Grew up idolizing him. But the new Kanye makes a different kind of music now that also resonates with me in a different way. We can pretty much all agree that ye jik and donda are his 3 least best albums but I consider them a dope part of the arc of his career. At least for ye and donda. Which have some amazing highlights. A lot of truly great artists go through periods like this and then give us late career masterpieces down the road. But Donda was my album of the year and I’m going to be living with those songs for a long time. and Ghost Town is my #3 favorite kanye song
nothing will top mbdtf but this ain’t mbdtf and i like it that way
pablo still one of his masterworks though
