kanye fans are spoiled and desensitized to his genius so a masterwork like donda is underappreciated

His best work in years. Really good album. A lot of great melodies

It’s one of my favorite listening experiences to listen to my version of the record which is 32 tracks in one sitting. but not the actual album version lol especially the deluxe too messy. my edit of the record is pretty sick though i think and somehow manages to be coherent

it’s a 9/10 just because it’s top tier music but could have used that extra polish and better sequencing IMO

I see niggas on here trash this album or just be dismissive of it etc, but they can argue with their momma idc , love everything about it including it being very imperfect.

I didn’t add every song on there definitely, but the highs are too insane for me to even care about the minutiae, the themes are constant & every feature buys into it,

maybe the only newish hip hop album where there’s catharsis for me, despite me being freaking agnostic/having virtually nothing in common w current Ye

I wouldn’t say it’s mbdtf it’s a like an 8.5 for me but who cares abt the semantics it’s one of my favorite albums of his, easily and the rapping/songwriting on there is leaps above Pablo & the albums that followed in terms of consistency imo

And who could forget Hurricane, Lord I need you, Keep my spirit alive

Incredible album. His best album since Yeezus. Way better than TLOP. Insulting to mention Ye album in same sentence imo lol
