What happened to ktt complaining about albums being too long?
its my only complaint with it
Yeah I just said this to my fiancée. Really smart move on Ye’s part as far as certs are concerned. Never understood why Drake didn’t add 3 tracks to Scorpion to make it an RIAA double album
That s*** already had like 10 fillers
drake furiously adding all the cut tracks as part 1 and part 2
Your fav just dropped an album but instead of discussing it you're in here whining about Drake
I can smell your lack of deodorant from here

drake got no reason to care about certs at this point lol

Yeah it’s evident he didn’t care but I just always thought it would’ve been an easy cert grab lol
Lol why did this need a thread?
Why does anything on this site need a thread? This is interesting to note OP.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the album length is because of that in part. Gives credence to the drop date on clb theory as well this would have been a cheat code
thank god that he stopped doing that 20 minute album s***
What happened to ktt complaining about albums being too long?
Well it’s different because those albums sucked d*** and this one is great
not a single second wasted
Pop smoke?
UPDATE 9/28/2021 The album has only been certified Gold... hm...
https://www.riaa.com/gold-platinum/?share=23579
So it will be counted as a double disc album by RIAA. Basically, for RIAA only (not Billboard) it will double it's sale units.
So if it moves say 500K album units, RIAA will count it as 1M.
This will not affect first week as that is counted by Billboard rather than RIAA. Billboard does not follow these rules.
It will only affect GOLD/PLATINUM certifications.
Note that the standard version needs to be over 100 minutes. Which it is. Pretty rare these days as usually with the Deluxe albums are over 100 minutes.
