i know people will be mad about my choices lol. i love off the grid but it’s super long and way better as a single than an album cut (imo). never abandon your family is amazing but i’m not sure how to fit it in here (at least yet)

This statement is not an axiomatic assumption. Release album with stems and different track lists doesn’t automatically = Kanye doesn’t care.

I remember in interview with I think it was Hudson Mohawke in maybe 2016 he said in the studio Kanye’s big thing is only having like 4 things going on at once maximum on a song, so that’s always been the vision and I guess that makes sense with how it the stem player works, his music has never been crazy layered in that way tbf

That's a great observation and definitely true too, makes you think about how some people think MBDTF is the quintessential Kanye album when it really is unlike most of his discography
