It is IMO. Way more than Yeezus, even though I like it better

Lmao the top complaints when tlop came out were that it wasn’t cohesive and felt rushed

New kanye fans have rly rewritten the perception of tlop. I don’t hate the album or anything but it is so funny

Thats part of the charm tho. A young rapper finally made it and was gonna put everything he had into his first two albums even if in retrospect it seems like a bit much. Also back then albums in general were more bloated it’s just a sign of the times

nah a lot of people genuinely warmed up to it. people admit it in a lot of the appreciation threads over the years. Even music sxn likes it and they are quick to hate Ye over there. Even dudes like Fantano changed their scores from 6 to an 8

Pablo release were some of my first days on KTT and i told all yall it was 100% gonna happen. s*** was wayyy too major of a moment and a lot of the songs stuck

Yeezus cohesive as hell and TLOP is so much different sounds and sounds chaotic as a whole even though i like that for that particular album

i just think kanye may hve recognized that the rapping/mixing on JIK were the major faults. if WUITB is an indication of the quality we're getting, then I'm VERY excited for a longer project at least 10+ songs hopefully

Ya true. I was blown away initially then grew kinda lukewarm about it but over time I’ve appreciated it more. The shift in perception on ktt and talking to ppl who always loved it might have a lil to do w it. I also think the underwhelming and short nature of ye and JIK have made it look a lot better to stans cuz it was the last time he was being that ambitious
