They don’t really treat me like a kid with anything else if I’m being honest. They’ve just always been pretty strict about piercings and tattoos. Not really my mom, mostly my dad who’s against it

My mom started taking some pretty personal shots. Saying stuff like “there’s always something with you. So how else are you gonna f*** up next” in reference to my past (I’ve been to jail twice, one was for a gram of weed). Saying s*** like “Im sure it’s the weed that’s got you making decisions like that.” Idk I thought it was a pretty low blow, especially since I’ve worked hard to pay all my fines and probation myself and those situations are YEARS behind me. But she always takes shots like that when she thinks I’m “steering from the path”.
