nah bryson is definitely a legend. who would you put above him in the last 10 years of r&b in terms of big songs, impact, etc? you can dislike his music and people making bad impressions of him but you can't deny his work
Legend is nuts man lmao
I think the Trapsoul era was a legendary moment in culture
AM Paradox, Trust EP and Brent Faiyaz work with Sonder literally s*** all over anything Bryson Tiller has ever made. Knock it off.
nah man yall bout to make me go joe budden because the way yall gas this nigga brent faiyaz when he’s more to blame for the downfall of mainstream r&b than bryson is crazy.
everything yall accuse bryson of being (rightfully so) brent is 2x worse

Idk who's worse but both of them + 6lack are all definitely 3 sides of the same coin when it comes to changing R&B for the worst.
Ah yes. A song that contributed towards and possibly sparked the decline in quality of mainstream male R&B music.
Over Drake? Gtfoh

I mean we can throw him in there BUT Sonder is vastly different from Brent Faiyaz
But also @rustcohlestan2

tops bryson and six lack whole careers
But Brent most the time yeah, you can say he’s part of the problem too.

only brent projects i even rank are the sonder albums, rest (outside of a couple of singles) are basura

Fair
Which PND song sounds like Don’t?
Weeknd has no song that sounds like Thriller but you see how MJ inspired him right?
i don’t even think trapsoul is that good but it’s better than anything brent faiyaz has done ill tell you that
Insane
Tiller doesn’t even have a YWA
again trapsoul ain’t even that good but it’s > than YWA

I meant a Young White Avatar. Brent has Tommy whatever
That's because the legacy acts haven't updated their certifications
They praying that them Pink Floyd certs never hit...
Over Drake? Gtfoh
Lmao you think I don't have smoke for Drake's emotionless trash singing ass too? :jordanlaff3:
Idk who's worse but both of them + 6lack are all definitely 3 sides of the same coin when it comes to changing R&B for the worst.
6lack can actually write well and make meaningful songs.
Singing ability obviously leaves much to be desired. Same as Brent. But at least I can say I've heard tracks and projects from them that actually have some type of depth to them

"2x worse" aight man lemme know when Bryson makes a Trust EP or Sonder Son bruh.
"But somewhere there’s some girl who loves all of the male R&B that stems from this song and Trapsoul"
And that's a boring b**** I don't wanna spend any time with.
You not missing out on much. I casually date these type of b****es in the city and I can tell they’re airheads. Funny how these nerds depend on them to shape their music preferences tho
Sidenote: People won't like this take, but Bino been a way better R&B artist than majority of male rappers/singers in the past 15 years.
Miguel piss and s*** all over bro man stop playing
miguel definitely better musically but doesn't have as many big songs or influences. Weekend, Frank, SZA, and Chris Brown above him in all facets but TrapSoul is one of the most important albums in R&B whether you think it's good or not
