why is niggas only talking about don’t saying he fell off. the tweet shows he has plaques from songs that came out last year

People get to feel like they got immaculate taste by hating on Bryson but he's got a lot of enjoyable music in his own lane like it's fine if it's not your taste but ppl really get excited to hate on dude like he did something personal to them lol

I think once true to self came out people completely gave up on Tiller which is a shame because Anniversary is straight fire all the way thru imo and Self Titled got a lot of nice tunes

Ive only heard the vices half of the double album but thats got some fire too.

I think some people dont like the trap soul (as a subgenre) blend and thats fine but its not bad music

Ah yes. A song that contributed towards and possibly sparked the decline in quality of mainstream male R&B music.

I'd blame the canadian influence rather than him, s*** woulda declined regardless

Calling Bryson Tiller a "legend" because he had a brief moment and a few popular songs is a ridiculous statement and an example of tossing around legend to anybody. I don't know what else you want me to say.

Like we gonna start calling 6ix9ine a legend cause he had a few popular songs? Lil Pump had a moment, he's a legend now? F*** it August Alsina and BoB are legends now if the criteria is just a few hot songs and a lil moment.

i do think 'legend' status is overstating his impact but theres no need to s*** on him thats how i feel.

You keep disingenuously making it about him just having a few hot songs lol

Look bro I really don’t care that much to start framing s*** all differently from what was actually said in the conversation so yall be easy

That nigga f***ing sucks and his impact was a net negative for R&B as a whole, so was PND

No amount of “well the hoes love him” is gonna change that fact

  • I deadass have never seen so much gas for a nigga struggle singing over some moody pads and trap drums

Y’all are genuinely hilarious on this site

    Cool bro

Unfortunately for you guys since you hate them so much, the “hoes” are also human beings who share the planet with us and contribute to the economy of the music industry. Also don’t know when yall started trying to simplify the argument into a “but the hoes listen to him!” thing

Nobody said that. My point was that the same way we have music nerds who feel infuriated at the smallest possible notion of giving someone like Bryson Tiller any praise, there are 10 times as many normal R&B fans (in my example, I used a “girl”because women are the largest demographic of R&B listeners) in real life who would give him plenty. And we’ll let the charts in OP serve as a reference

Let’s lock in man , please

its funny to me that all that performance on how bad u think bryson is and ur example of other artists that blow him out of the water is brent faiyaz lol

I like both and do think brent fits in the traditional r&b mold a little better but hes got his flaws too the music being quiet af for one

Just another interlude my favorite Tiller song but that’s more of a rap song
