To the masses, he’s very much a gigantic pop star with C+ level pop raps which couldn’t be further from the truth
It’s why I want him so badly to engage with Dot here. It’s one of the last things in his career that he hasn’t done yet. Very few “lyricist” reach the level of box office supe om that dot has. This is a real chance for Drake to kind of introduce to the world, the concept of being able to be an elite pop songwriter while also being an elite MC. The entire world will hear abt this s*** if he lands the plane here.
IMO he can’t erase the Quentin Miller or Pusha T stuff legacy wise, but going to war with a surefire top 10 OAT would go a longggg way towards cleaning up the tiny bit of flaws on his legacy.
After this, the boy would truly be untouchable. Dun talk.
