This wasn't bad as people say. interesting plot. but feel like the ending could've been different.

They were overreacting for sure. cool concept for a movie. Florence carried the whole movie
Does anyone find Harry Styles' acting bad in this? My friends who I saw it with think so
This movie was fine. Harry Styles wasn't even bad in it. Chris Pine looks awful, so much botox and plastic surgery

He looks like the puppet from Team America
Pretty entertaining movie. I guess people were expecting a lot from it. The themes and characters might be surface level but it didn’t really matter
This might be trying to give credit to something that might not deserve it
But I feel like an inexperienced actor playing the husbands role was on purpose because the vibes are supposed to be off. The husband is trying to hide the nature of their reality.

I don’t think that’s what they went for but what you saying does make sense. I just highly doubt that was the thought process, plus Shia was originally doing that role

Yeah true. Shia would have made this a whole different movie he would have rounded out the sharp ends of the movie
Would’ve preferred it stayed somewhat grounded in the original premise til finish.
Why not have it actually be a secluded dessert society/cult that is disconnected from present day reality? I totally thought it was going that direction when the plane crashed. Figured it’d be some type of dome force field hiding the town after they threw that bizarre pulsing effect on the plane. Would’ve rather that than the black mirror approach. Pines character didn’t matter at all after the reveal.
Still enjoyed it. 6.5/10.

Shia and Dakota Johnson would’ve made this a very different movie
Just watched this
Was okay I guess? Harry sucked, Florence ruled, reveal was kind of predictable. Just wasn’t totally engaged the whole time but there were times where I was into it
After watching the movie, I feel like maybe they were supposed to act robotic except for Flo and that other girl.
I liked it. It felt like a Black Mirror episode or something, I felt like it had the perfect format for streaming, it just didn't feel like a big screen movie... to me.
Finally checked this out last night and...it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be?
Florence definitely carried the movie and Harry's acting was the worst part. The reveal could have been better. It's a shame we'll never know what the Shia version of this could've been.
Also, I gotta know. What was the thinking behind casting Nick Kroll other than to be the loudest guy in all of his scenes? Was waiting for him to do the Lola voice from Big Mouth
just finished
last half hour was good didnt need the reveal to take so long to happen
not bad not great
also harrys acting was fine, hes not gonna win any awards but tbh no one else should either
this wasnt as bad as people are making it out to be
the ending was pretty predictable and mid but FLORENCE carried the entire movie. another amazing performance
