I seriously don't get why this video has gotten remotely popular.

He thought he had a certain perception of Kanye and didn't like him based off the out of context headlines the media loves to use against Kanye. Then he got to know him more personally and interviewed him, and realised he wasn't as bad as he's portrayed.

It had nothing to do with being out of context. He used to literally play his interviews and music and s*** all over them. It had nothing to do with miscommunication.... literally used to actively disparage him as an artist as a person and music. This is just a classic case of having no moral integrity. It's all there in the video. And he has been called out for it in the past as well, that's why this video holds weight.
