i mean if we're just talking bars doris clears but earl clears 99.999% of rappers

Someone recommend some better versuses then clapdead cause the ones i do people think are cooked, besides the ones i’ve done that I know are weird match ups people haven’t thought of before these were just 2013s albums along with born sinner Yeezus watching movies with the sound off.

A lot of these threads think are cooked the landslide ones but 2014FHD is slowly creeping up on ALLA now lol

I think Doris so underrated, hoarse way more important than anything on NWTS music is subjective lol and you can change your perception on stuff obviously NWTS is a more colourful pop rap sound album, Earl is just a better rapper I’d argue Doris beats are incredible and that’s an early Earl album. I think Doris is better than IDLS i used to think IDLS was a step in a diff direction for Earl but Doris is a more complete body of work than IDLS

Being thag everything since SRS has been more of a statement of where he’s at in life quick short projects, they’re all somewhat equal to me in quality since SRS. SRS was coming out of the ashes of the OF days and all those years washing away behind him and Earl coming out of those dark years with SRS, a lot of the Doris and IDLS themes Earl got rid of with SRS and reinvented himself

Yeah you’re not wrong tbh, Doris has a lot of OF /2013 stench on it. I think some of the rapping is still super cold and got way more integrity than NWTS though. Drake isn’t that type of rapper though so comparing him to Earl is funny. Even comparing born sinner to NWTS is interesting cause i think cole is a better technical rapper then Drake but every song on born sinner is basically the same topic besides like 3 songs lmao

Even if you want to not go 2013 and compare take care to NWTS, people love NWTS cause it’s drakes short basically flawless track for track album besides 305) Take care is flawless too it’s just longer so people don’t notice that, take care has slightly less cheesiness and has aged better than NWTS to me

It’s funny to even point out flaws when comparing these two cause they are obviously great albums

I think Doris has moments like the end of hoarse that are better and actual classic moments with integrity that Drake can’t touch on NWTS

I been listening to Doris a lot lately and caught a lot of subtle incredible s*** on it that not a lot of people mention it’s a very layered album even with the of the time dated s***

NWTS is like a worse graduation-like pop album for me for Drake minus the daft punk electro inspired stuff, i always thought the painted artwork of his face painted with the clouds was corny as f***, NWTS is graduation type pop album blueprint but with cheesiness and less integrity to me. Minus the critical hateful stuff im saying for the sake of comparison though… i still think NWTS is a 8.5 or higher album though and is a great project regedless of all this clapdead
