Can I download Catalina in App store without installing it?

A new OS is coming out and I wanna download Catalina, but I am working on some projects so I don't wanna update to catalina right now.
Can I just download it without automatic installing it?

yes it just downloads the OS image into your Apps folder

you can quit the App it will launch automatically and then just run the App to update it later

So when I am done downloading and it automatic starts the installation I can just quit it installation I keep Mojave until I am finished with my projects, and then I will be able to install Catalina and not the new OS that they are putting out tomorrow?

yeah exactly, you should be able to force quit the app & then just launch Install macOS Catalina.app to install it tomorrow
