Yeah i sound dumb but you dont even know where to put your apostrophes
You focused on an apostrophe because apparently the actual point was too hard to address.
Dr Dre hates his fans
Why is this in the Bruce Springsteen section lol
Right message wrong messenger
california niggas who sold their soul doing something corny what is shocking
This like the recent flock damage control
Billionaires just tryna sell you AI lol
AI is the future yall might as well just shut the f*** up starting now
People are already drifting from mediums with less soul made entirely by humans. Art made with no soul made with ai isnt going to win people over right now

there's nearly 350 million people in America

unfortunately it will as most, if not majority of people, do not have the media literacy to know what feels soulless

Of course doesnt change any of what I said.
Authentic art will prevail long term that isnt to deny some like ai art or its uses or will put charlie kirks face on everything september 10th.
this kinda just confirms it lmfao. play this in a karaoke bar or slip it into a setlist during an 80s section and nobody batting an eye lmfao. we on the internet are not the general public

Some can tell when something is off some cannot. When it comes down to it I think even before this ai wave people applaud artist the most that perform their music live. Mic on. Not just a sing a long to karoake but genuinely perform. Whether vocalist, rappers, afrobeats, reggaeton. Any genre . DJs mixing live not just pressing play. artist writing their own songs
The ones that have the strongest most fervent fanbases put their heart into their craft even if imperfect they are human. aI gets pushback because if they use ai it will never fully be that way live. Whats next an ai microphone that augments their voice live
Then suddenly we are moments away from artist becoming more and more like Hatsune Miku

people have been attending listening parties with their favorite artists since 2019, it’s been a wrap on artists “needing to perform live” cause they just stand up there and adlib their backing track lmfao. all the major artists aside from Cole do it comfortably and regularly. Kanye went on an entire album tour and didn’t say a word lol. the artists know the fans are more excited to be in their presence than the actual lyrics
like you are seriously overestimating people’s media literacy or ability to care when in a social group due to bias of not wanting to be ostracized in the moment everyone else is enjoying. this will inevitably reach AI unfortunately
Of course doesnt change any of what I said.
Lots of people (mainly older people) don't care and don't have these hang ups about AI, I don't think AI artists will be as big or as marketable as pop mega stars because young people are the key demographic for spending on pop culture, but there will be big songs that older people who don't give a s*** about the downsides of AI will listen to

Listening parties of unfinished content while sing along or not a performance are still vulnerable moments. Yes some of it is vanity of "omg artist is going to be there " clout chasing. Ye greatest tour moments of the recent years are where we see he is still there. Is he singing every moment or rapping every moment? No. But even as a Ye fan its easy to recognize people like the authentic and return to soul in Bully.
"overestimating peoples media literacy" I am not saying this is the rule for all. S*** I dont think everyone will be as strict as "ai is used I am not engaging in this art or artist at all". I am saying some people are drifting away from inauthentic music , games , tv and movies. Not limited to ai but ai is part of it. Even if it had no environmental factors. People like seeing art made. They like connecting with artist. How can they connect with artist if ai is a surrogate to the art. I am not talking about remedial uses of ai . I am talking central uses.
There is some people intimidated by the tool of ai at all in all forms. There are others where its more than just a tool. Where it can start as a tool and ruin their entire trajectory because they lose the love of the craft.

It might be because I have an office job and all my friends/colleagues that I speak to are educated young people but I haven't met anyone around my age (28) who likes AI art and thinks its good artistically, everyone hates it, most of them hate AI in general but understand its good for speeding up mundane work tasks
That's not to say I haven't overheard people in my office (in their 40s and 50s) speaking glowingly about it, but there is a major generation divide about it

The people consuming the most art comes down to the youth. Some of them care . Some of them dont care. Will be interesting to see where it goes
the main thing I see people use ai for is memes and that is accepted by many but also many dont like that. the kirk memes grow old. the ai flyers for gatherings and restaurants grow lazy. It doesnt make you want to go to a location.

Most people I know in similar age ranges are actively using AI to promote their businesses and artistic platforms. The “AI poster” is so common in my feed now and then the artists who make AI cartoons of themselves and use AI to do features they can’t get or afford (female vocalists, graphic designers, etc.). If you look not even long enough, you will see how it’s actively being used. Go on any page that’s trying to build itself and just LOOK at the font/texture and it’s all AI cause they run out of creative fumes in their brain and need to keep up with the algorithm every day. especially millennials

We hang around different sorts of people

Not really. Most platforms promoting musicians are using AI posts in between regular posts to keep up with the algorithm
this line of content exists in multiple areas/mediums

I don't disagree with that but I was referring to people in real life, less struggling artists or aspirational entrepreneurs
