Everyone was trying to hype Mez up as the next Eminem

Lorde has mob ties, and has beef with Dre
The production value is very expensive and grand. But I'm not really feeling most of this on 1st listen
Oof
Was more curious about that
Changed my mind, 8 listens in, songwriting songwriting fire. Sza style more than Bruno mars

To say the least definitely expensive
I do think it takes a few listens to get into
Once you get to know the tracks they definitely get better, if that makes sense? The structures and progressions start to become familiar and these beautiful patterns in her voice start coming together
Favourites currently are Tunisian nights, Smoke, best I could find, and probably self care... there are gems all on this
When dre said it was some of his best work he was not lying though
This is serious quality

Thats always the case with music but everything is trash/mid to people these days after skimming through once (not talking about Oblivion)
Sounds like she’s trying to do too much on every single track. Can’t help but think an artist like erykah would’ve done these instrumentals the justice they deserved

I definitely think she doing too much on tracks
As if she's laid the greatest song of all time and we're supposed to be amazed by her voice
First listen was like that but tbh I felt like that listening to 'Greedy' for the first time but now it feels incredible. You get past it and it is rewarding

Tunisian Nights, Wet, Cloudy, Thrill Her, and Music of My Mind were the tracks that really stood out to me production wise & I definitely plan on coming back to this once I get through all the other albums that released tonight, but yeah sometimes it’s perfectly okay to let the production guide and I don’t think Marsha understood that on a lot of these

The production on cloudy really took me by surprise, it's nothing I've heard dre even attempt before, in the first half I mean
Interesting skimming through production credits, all the songs are produced by the same 4 roughly, Dr dre, blu2th, dem jointz, focus
But interestingly, best I could find is solely produced by dre
Mamba Mentality
Game Winning shot for the 3
Kobe
Swish
It’s good!
Are insane lyrics no matter who says them
