Not really

it's the most quality Dragon Ball has ever been on a technical and artistic level. The writing is peak as well. THAT'S how you introduce Broly to the canon

first half of the movie is basically the entire db origin story and oversimplified Z/Super

Brolys dad he grew up with death being a mere gag and never mentioned again by broly after he regains his consciousness 💩💩💩

yes because Z Broly really grew up in the same environment as Super one..bro grew up on a planet full of monsters and y'all expect him to maintain a dialogue when they clearly shown how he doesn't even know how to talk

Nope, all you probably have to know is
Super Saiyan god form is above SSJ3, Red hair. Super Saiyan Blue is above Super saiyan god, Blue hair. You'll see this purple cat character hang with this skinny blue angel looking dude, they are not allowed to intervene in fights according to the ways of actual "god" here

I like how it gives them more of his character to be developed later in a realistic way as with Z Broly didn't think it'd go anywhere. Respect to Z Broly though great movie villain. I prefer Super Broly as an overall character and piece of DB lore

I mean your only notable points imo are about Broly as a character which tbh that's a matter of opinion since he was written well on a technical level.

Frieza was obviously gaslighting that guy about the wish thing, and knowing he got beat for an hour while they f***ed around with the fusion dance warms my heart so w/e. The girlfriend thing is clearly a mistake on her, the character's, part and not the writers' part

Only thing I agree with is Paragus being tossed aside like scum I wanted a more serious send off even if brief feel me

Well, none of the movies are suppose to be actual canon before super

Thats why broly didnt go anywhere before - like naruto as well and most other animes, the movies are basically high budget "filler" until recently with super and boruto
