i gotta play it still, loved the first one i’d b suprised if it matches up to it but 90 wit tax for a game that barely touches 30 is insane to me esp in 2023 we are not gamin on a switch man let’s b honest

Yeah it sucks but let's wait and see if it's actually justified, I would be bummed if it was a PS5 exclusive but the game is probably gonna be heavy to run on PC as well

na i wouldn’t be suprised i don’t think it has to do with ps5 hardware i just don’t like how games are developed i always think 60 fps should be the new standard and should always b prioritized over graphics

This game is $80?
Anyways, I’m playing on pc but I have ps5 and almost all the 60fps modes on newer games look dogshit (in terms of crisp visuals) unless you have an untreated sight problem lol
Anybody record this
another one
You have no vision!
Lmao even the dude streaming it saying the game is dry.

Well, if the guy streaming it says it!
Thankfully they have an entire game that came out before this telling us that that is most likely not the case!

The first one is meh. 75 on metacritic. If that’s what we are comparing it to the game is in trouble tbh.

You missing out on a lotta classics if you relying on metacritic lol

So you didn't play it and are relying on Metacritic scores to curate judgement.
Lmfao

Audiences loved it tho, also it has a 78 on ps3 btw, most critics rated it 8/10. Which is very solid. It seems like with DD2 they’ve improved everything, but we’ll see
This is a controversial take I'm sure. But I like much of the way combat looks more than Elden Ring.
The skills, like every class actually looks useful.
Archery is ass in all souls games but you can legit make a badass archer in this.
The skills look like they actually hurt enemies, instead of them just tanking shots but their health depleting.
Again this is all filtered footage as I haven't actually played but I enjoy skills looking actually powerful and like they really hit like a truck. Maybe I'm completely wrong but I'd have to play and see myself.

That’s uhhhh… interesting take
I could see the magic and archery being better but the combat looks so floaty

10 mins in the first game will let you know it’s better lol.
Play as a Warrior n see if it’s “floaty”.

Not a tough hurdle to clear

Why do so many of yall who've never played the first game have any opinion on this tbh lol

imo DS3 and beyond from soft games have some of the tightest feeling 3rd person combat out there
I just see it being pretty hard to compete with.
I did pick up the first game on the spring steam sale tho, I’m gonna put a couple hours into it before Friday so I don’t go in completely blind. I’m more than open to admitting I’m wrong if I end up enjoying the combat.
