SBOI do think in time we'll get a project like that, not based on if it sells or the public perception but on Drake's terms and when he wants to give that type of album, rn he seems interested in doing exactly what he wants to do and really try his hand at it, love the last 2 projects and excited for what we got coming up

off this initial first few listens it's my favorite Drake album since More Lifebut at the same time I understand what someone like @2words means when he says that Drake's music is less mature than it was back then.
like you said, Drake is in a great creative zone rn and I love it, I have no doubt that with enough time he will give us an album like that on his own terms
Nov 5, 2022SBODefinitely agree, I just want him to avoid the trap of making something to please people, this nigga's fan base is so varied it's gonna be almost impossible, but if he sticks to what his own creative vision I think the next studio LP is gonna be crazy
I’m not worried about that tbh
Even on a project like this drake is conscious of what people want and kind of giving it to them (people want bangers or whatever)
But it’s still from a genuine place
So I don’t feel like it would be that different for him to do a project partly for the day one fans. He doesn’t just work for himself I don’t think, he does aim to please
