What else they saying
They basically said Drake needs to grow up with 36 and that he's cringe
"But it’s the furious backlash to the “stallion bar” in particular — Megan’s anguished tweets in response, a claim from Lil Yachty that Drake’s words are a standard misogynist joke about cosmetic surgery and not a specific reference to the Megan/Tory Lanez shooting..."
how is that line misogynistic at all
It's very pathetic the lengths people will go to for viral tweets using Drake's name.
https://twitter.com/HipHopAllDayy/status/1589332539784978432They want Drake to be either gay, bi, or a pedo so bad

They've never stayed in the Missoni room at the Byblos and it shows

This doesn't make any f***ing sense, I swear people are just using these words as buzzwords now and it's the worst, because it loses its meaning. We never fight the real problem.
I don’t have a very good argument as to why misogyny should go uncriticized Hip-Hop tbh but it is perplexing how none of these critiques show up in reviews of albums with similar or even more out of pocket lyrics. Solo 21 content included.

It’s okay to make fun of men’s height though!

Rolling stone is allegedly owned by roc nation
This just her PR team
The s*** the rappers be rapping about in drill music is 150% worse than what was said on this album but you don’t see Twitter crying about it or these “journalists” saying anything about it either
And it has a long term negative effect on the community too, but nobody says anything about it

Like if they were fair across the board I wouldn’t be trippin
Future been toxic his whole career and they eat it up
Pusha keeps raping about selling coke and he’s in his 40s

I think it’s because for trap artists/albums, people aren’t really paying attention to the lyrics that much or really dissecting them like that.
Whereas with Drake, his lyricism/songwriting has always been at the forefront of his appeal as an artist
most the backlash comes with drake being drake. he will receive negativity and dislike just because of how popular he is, there's bound to be a large amount of people who do not like him or his music.
they're louder now because this is the first project drake has dropped since he became as big as he is (post views) that has been positively received by almost everyone and folks cant really nitpick his music and have to aim towards him instead

They his biggest fans, just doing everything for likes online
Heavy is the crown
Drake being the top dog means that people will make exceptions for him when it comes to what and how they criticize him
'There's three sides to this story, girl
