Drakeās bars going at the Honestly Nevermind haters doesnāt get mentioned enough
I hope he doesn't listen to these kind of critques because people been saying the same s*** for his whole career. His music always like a diary and reflecting his lifestyle so I hope that continues. A rapper actually living a wild and eventful life.
Not hiding at home for 6 years then forcing fake deep mental health bars lmao.
Worry about the old coke / street rappers and still rapping about selling and shooting which they ain't done since they were 17.
you drake stans are genuinely mentally ill, how did you even manage to sneak kendrick into this post?
You are on D*** fam

The street / coke rappers comparison in regards to Drake speaking ignorantly in his music doesnāt exactly equate for a few reasons:
First point: Yes, those guys are in their late 30s / 40s still rapping about those types of things, but thatās what they were raised around, that whole lifestyle was ingrained in them from a very young age. Itās what they know and they probably still have many friends and family still involved with that lifestyle. Like Snoop said on Institutionalized, you can take the boy out the hood but you canāt take the hood out the homie.
Drake isnāt from that type of life, these are all topics he only recently started adopting and talking about in his music (the violence, the gang/mob ties s***, etc.), so itās weird to see as his career progresses he gets increasingly ignorant and way less mature/introspective than he sounded on projects he released 10 years ago.
And the second point: Those older street rappers are speaking directly towards people either still living that life or who are around people who live that life. Thatās their core audience. Drakeās core audience is very far removed from anyone involved in street s***, so again, itās odd to see him roleplay as such as a 36 year old man.
Album is still good, but this is why I understand the critique for his content lately and why the street/coke rapper argument is flawed
