You can make your observation. The problem is when that turns into a dig at the music. Drake being 36 doesn't mean he has to make the kind of music that you believe suits his age.

The issue is that Drake finds a way to have at least one introspective song on every release to let fans know he hasn't lost touch with that part of himself but y'all keep demanding he give you an album's worth of dad raps and he will never do that.

It doesn't mean he can't/won't rap about being a father or his relationship with his baby mama but he understands that isn't really what people will keep going back to and he's very much still in the mindset of making music he can rock out to when he goes out as well as music other people can enjoy.

Drake will give you the "mature" album eventually. You'll just have to wait until he's ready to do so is all.

Yep. I'd say the most underrated songs on the album right now are the last two songs, which are by far the most meaningful/introspective on the album.

Again, y’all are putting words in my mouth. I never said I wanted him to “rap his age”. Yes his duty is to make great music, all I’m pointing out is that his approach has changed creatively.

That’s not a dig at the music either, I’ve had Her Loss on repeat since it dropped.

My point is that introspection and emotional depth don’t seem to be all that important to him in his creative approach anymore. That’s all. Just an observation.
