ryuHI wasn't talking about a whole album EXACTLY like Middle of The Ocean, that would be boring for sure
I'm saying I wanna see him do a lyrical showcase project with S-Tier production on the same LEVEL as Middle of the Ocean, not necessarily the same style over and over again.
When I say we need a full album of Middle of the Ocean I'm saying we need Drake on that type time not necessarily the same exact sound

It don't have to be exactly like that tho just giving an example of what it could be. Could be an album, mixtape or whatever he feels like marketing it as. Could be a collab with one producer or it could be another collab album with another heavyweight rapper like Ross or Cole... he could take a page out of Tyler and Drama’s book and have Khaled host it if its a tape. Possibilities are endless.
I know some people ain't into lyrical rap these days and that's cool, they'll just have to sit that one out. We got HNM & Her Loss this year, whose to say we don't get a rap project like what I'm describing and full R&B project both in 2023? I think doing s*** like that will really take his legacy to a whole nother level

Her Loss has no filler. HN is polarising but it isn’t bloated and doesn’t have filler.
Scorpion and CLB are fair to call bloated.
Do you also understand that music is subjective and because you personally don’t like a track doesn’t mean it’s automatically fat to be trimmed. Maybe your taste kinda trash low key lol

idk for me it’s an album you really love and can see yourself playing it like 20 years down the line. i mean if i did sit down and think closely about my fav albums i could find “faults” but a lot of those faults is what makes the music magic to me and makes the albums human.
