Wayne dropped Funeral five days after Kobe tragically passed away. He dedicated the album to him since they were close (24 tracks on standard, 8 tracks on deluxe, and a 24 second moment of silence at the end of the 8th song).
There’s no amount of time they could push back Her Loss that would make it feel okay because whatever time period it would be would imply that people only have x amount of time to grieve, but we’ll never stop grieving the loss of Takeoff.
The most sincere thing to do would be to dedicate the album to him
