Don’t think that remix is going to affect rich flex going number one. Unless they play some tricks behind the scenes
billboard going to receive a this is TAYLOR text.

Aint no unless. thats why it has to be released, so the tricks can be done.
@thegreatdivine you think she closing the gap to Rich Flex number 1 with this remix in 1 day possibly?
Would be wild because the points gap looked kinda substantial but don’t know how crazy her fans are 🤣
I already see the bullshit coming… Charts gonna be delayed on Monday while Taylor’s team submits fake ass numbers
This is so nasty and no publication is gonna call it out
Took em all day last week. It was like 9pm
defo 700k+ as clb already did 600k+.
but drizzy isn't going to do all that. it's just drop the music and let it do all the talking. physicals and pre-orders aside, he'll never resort to these bs gimmicks such a bad look fr.
True but I didn’t want to assume CLB numbers are the norm. It had years of hype and almost beat out Scorpion in terms of streams

If it was 99% of other artists I’d say no chance, but swift fans are borderline insane when it comes to supporting Taylor. Fans spending $500 on all the different vinyl and cd versions. No doubt a good amount are buying that remix and never hitting play again after the first listen
If Her Loss can do 400K, that means a proper Drake album with physicals and pre-orders can do 600-700K no?
Drake’s normal numbers for a solo album are 600k+ so I’d imagine he’d be doing at least 800k if he pulled out all the stops. Definitely more tho
Billboard needs new rules cuz this is getting crazy
They won't change them until black people or other minority see the same benefit. Right now only artists like Taylor, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber can take advantage of this s***. It's even more obvious when BTS was doing s*** like this last year for Butter and billboard was swift to change the rules immediately after
koreaboo.com/news/bts-armys-behind-billboard-changes-rules
I wanted to put a thread together about this but Billboard has historically worked in favor of white artists and changes rules when it's detrimental to other races whenever they feel like it and it's sickening. You could ask "why do you even care?" but a system built to only put white artists on the top infuriates me as an aspiring artist and someone who like to keep track of statistics. Numbers aren't supposed to be biased but they can and are being twisted by the parties who are supposed to be unbiased

that is the norm for a drake rap album. what we got since scorpion is dldt ( leaks, loosies and demos) which was announced day of and hnvm (surprise dance album). clb did the numbers it was supposed to imo.
and streaming has grown a lot since scorpion.

their white fanbases are more likely to have the disposable income to splash on all these gimmicks compared to minorities.

I had mentioned that but removed it because I think that's debatable honestly thinking on it now. Drake, Kendrick, Cole, Ye have very strong numbers of black fans that do support them they're not the majority of their fans but still there. It's just that the charts are more geared towards pop gimmicks and selling out which artists like Drake and Kendrick especially won't stoop that low so it's not just fans but artists have to be willing to compromise on their integrity if they want billboard to count them in. It's a game and they're the gatekeepers. I miss the Rolling Stones chart because they were finally going to step in on the monopoly

I agree it comes down to the artist to make those gimmicks available to the fans. But pop culture has taken it way too far (with the help of twitter) to the point where it's not even about the music anymore. Just straight manipulating charts.

Nope.
So like 8-9 songs top 10?

Its such a shame drake wasn’t the first one to do 10/10 on the top 10 and it was taylors CHEATING ass. Im sure drake will get it with his next album but sucks she “did” first
