Can’t listen atm, but does he really refer to those three albums as a trilogy? Other than Jimmy Cooks kinda hinting at Her Loss, only thing that seems to connect those albums is (a) 21 having some role on all three and (b) the fact that he hasn’t toured with any of them.

I think Drake only losely kept to the themes in this "trilogy" and it was just a cool idea to marry the 3 project run with album titles

Remember the Vogue interview in 2018? She went with the narrative of the interviewer which was that Drake ruined her Vanguard night with his speech. That narrative was a bold faced lie because she spent the night with him and also went to Miami with him. If he ruined her night then she wouldn't have gotten that tattoo or follow him around for weeks.

That seems more or less a lyrical staple of his discog than something particularly emphasized in these albums- might just mean that he sees the three albums as one long fluid recording/creative process since I don’t think he’s toured with any of these albums. Though I don’t know why Dark Lane wouldn’t qualify as enjoined in that same period as well. Who knows.

I ain't follow the story deeply but I do remember the vanguard speech and I can see how she might have felt some type of way as she looked back to it. I mean Drake basically hijacked her moment to shoot his shot lmao
