Being a Drake fan isn’t frivolous entertainment, it’s a lifestyle. I wouldn’t expect everyone to understand that.
I’ve been a drake fan since he was still known as Aubrey Graham. Before he was shot and even when he was mackin on the goth girl with his wheelchair rhymes. Still not payin that.
Yes I will be in here complaining about prices and yes I will also be reselling 2 nosebleeds that I copped at $500 each
Lowkey this what I shoulda done
Ay papi u got it like that? 👀
Some were cheaper, and many just 50 bucks more when the sale was going on
If only someone would have told us.....
Are the ticket prices that high because they came to the conclusion he can’t sell out stadiums, but he can sell arenas, so he wants to still be among the highest grossing tours?
Like, he can’t get 75k plus in attendance per city at normal pricing, but can sell half of that per city and get those people to pay unreal prices equaling the difference from not being able to do stadiums?
They learned from the Taylor Swift incident to just sell the tickets at resell prices smh.
If you're not buying on vivdseats the day before tickets go on sale, then u really not sure it's selling out

Stadiums were a logistical issue, there was never a question of him selling them out

Gotcha.
I just remember the first leak was stadium but didn’t know why it didn’t work out
Obviously everyone can't go to or does it make sense to go to dreamfest as an alternative, it's a fest, there's limited capacity.
But I'm saying the price for a ticket to see Drake AND Cole for SOME is less than to see drake with 21 in the nosebleed.
ok?
Wow well I guess I got tix to the Seattle show through a connection who has a suite…. Not sure how but not gonna question this blessing 😩😩😩😩😩
THEY ARE F***ING FRONT ROW
Yeah just like car prices. They’re not gonna go down unless people said f*** you and didn’t buy.

I'm curious as to the decision making process as well,

What logistics?

imo, the ticket prices and the fantasy of him being able to sell out stadiums are not so closely related. it's simply that nowadays, people will willingly, easily pay a stupid high amount for concert tickets. it happened for the first concerts after the pandemic.
myself, i justified in that ''well, at least we have concerts again, and the artists need to make up on the loss of touring revenue they missed on for two years".
but as we have seen with everything else in these last few years, prices went up, and ....they just stayed up. people keep buying, and so that price becomes the normalized price. there are so many people that turned from 16 to 18, who are now going to concerts for the first time, and to them, dropping 500 minimum for floor seats is not only their standard, but now a fleeting one at that as the prices continue increse.
i know for a lot of hot ticket concerts, you'll see resale advertising tickets in the balconies for triple digits, and me, and many others will think, "oh soon these prices will drop when no one buys them". But then, people actually buy them at those prices. when bad bunny had 1000 dollar tickets RETAIL, i was like no f***ing way, that's plat, or resell but it wasn't.
it sucks, but there really is a whole new demographic of people that are buying concert tickets, and stay buying stupidly ridiculously priced tickets, but to them its completely normal because it's all theyve ever known.
brodie how much was floor? and what seats and price you get
floor is like $530ish depending on venue

This would be my second concert I'm going to. (weeknd convert was amazing btw) Do you recommend buying tickets on release day or wait a couple weeks before the show starts?
I think yall are reading into it way too hard
Ticket prices are so high bc they're gonna sell out regardless
And the narrative that Drake couldn't do stadiums is silly
