Like 6+ hour drive
Oh s***. That’s like driving to another state. He has to do another date in NY.

On the leaks there was one in Philly which is like a 2 hour drive, but I was figuring there would be one at MetLife
Lol I read through some of the post on here. Do people really think Drake can’t sell out a stadium?
Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, LA, NY ( I think he can do two nights back to back here). Toronto, Chicago, Philly, Miami he can do with his eyes close.
The other smaller cities will have surrounding cities and states that will def fill the seats up.
Nissan Stadium in Nashville would have Tennessee, Kentucky and maybe some Alabama fans that come to that show.
after weeknd headlined a stadium tour alone and kanye did four stadium shows back to back post-trump, there should be no doubt that drake can hold down a stadium tour
I don't understand this narrative that one of the biggest artists of this generation can't do a stadium tour lol

People think stadiums reserved for popstars and bands

I feel like that narrative was started by pop Stans to downplay drake’s success

He's basically a pop star anyways (that's not meant to be a shot)
Drake has achieved 11 number-one hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and holds further Hot 100 records;14 he has the most top 10 singles (67), most charted songs (293),15 the most simultaneously charted songs in one week (27), the most Hot 100 debuts in one week (22), and the most continuous time on the Hot 100 (431 weeks)
Yea, I promise you this guy can do a stadium tour.

White popstars too because they was legit doubting if weeknd could even sell out a stadium

Citi field. Yankees stadium. MetLife.
So many options. I would think

I think hip hop as a whole has never seen that from a non white rapper. Drake is such an anomaly though I think after NWTS he could’ve done a few stadium dates especially in big cities.

Yea gotta do one of them imo

Ngl I think kanye could have done it with donda if he ain’t go off the deep end

The leak dates probably weren’t all of the dates lol. He’s most definitely gonna play at one of those.

he sort of did tbh
maybe i’m wrong, but it feels like a bigger feat to get 50-70k people into a stadium to hear a new (unfinished) album than to hear you perform 20 years worth of their favorite hit records.

People thought they were getting a lot more than they got 😭
The hype of hearing some exclusive s*** is big. They were giving away tickets to that too
Whats all the hype about stadiums anyway? Everyone I know who’s been to one of Drakes shows in the past have said good things

Arenas better but stadiums just a cool achievement aesthetically

From an enjoyment perspective 100% arenas are better for most artists, but like it’s super rare that solo artists that are not legacy acts or a bands is able to do stadiums. that’s why bad bunny and weeknd concert videos where going viral because it’s just an impressive feat to bring out that many people.
Gotta come to Vancity.. BC Place would def be sold out.
Also fans would come from Edmonton and Calgary as well. BC Place is the only stadium in western canada that could handle the show.
The weeknd sold out back to back nights during his stadium tour.
