thegreatdivineYeah, that's most likely the logic behind them not bothering to fight it. All they care about are their units being moved and if it ends up creating an air of exclusivity around the brand then even better because that directly leads to more hype for every new release.
It's the same thing companies like Ticketmaster do. They'll never truly fight people who use bots to cop tickets because they most likely are involved with the biggest reseller sites so they make money off that, too.
It's f***ed up but I really hope true fans are able to get their hands on the shoes. I want to cop both colors but I won't kill myself trying to.
It's a real shame. And kind of funny when they put systems in place like CAPTCHAs to act like they care about bots when in reality all they do is slow down actual people.
I'm with you. I'll try at a few places tomorrow, but I refuse to pay second-hand prices and support the scalping industry. Hopefully NOCTA does another drop sometime down the road - I think I finally figured out the tricks of the site (leave it in your cart and just refresh, don't try the express payment methods) right after the last big wave of the size/color combo I was going after.

NOCTA.com is still adding stock of various sizes every few minutes. But they sell out nearly instantaneously

Try opening the site on a different device or closing and reopening the site. I did that and was able to avoid it and just had a capcha to check off
