This is a reach. If he was that insecure, he'd have never made Honestly, Nevermind in the first place. Plus, Drake has a habit of announcing things ahead of time. That ain't nothing new. Feels more like he was done with Honestly, Nevermind and he was so excited about the rap music he was making that he had to let it slip that he had some dope s*** coming. He also announced a book of poems coming as well.
Every Drake fan knows whenever he leans hard into his non-rap bag, there's some fire rap songs coming right behind that to remind folks of what he can do. He's always moved that way.
I said it earlier that I think he may end up making SH3 a full-length project just off the time he's spent working on it by now. That'd probably be the best move.
