For non legacy acts that get offered, there’s another aspect at play I haven’t seen mentioned: they come off a recent smash that crossed over with the NFL demographics. Since Roc Nation has had this deal in 2019, has Drake crossed over on that side at all? What has he actually done since 2019 to be offered the Super Bowl?

You know people enjoy his older songs too right? He’s had hits. What artist goes to the super bowl and does all there newest songs lol. It’s basically a greatest hits show and he has many he can perform.

Drake is not a good live performer

He can’t hold the weight of that stage

Weeknd had hits before Blinding Lights - the song pretty much solely responsible for catapulting him to Super Bowl headliner status. That’s a moot point here because again, Drake is not a legacy act

    en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Up_in_Smoke_Tour

dre headlined a classic tour that featured snoop, eminem and more and it was a massive moment for hip hop

the dvd for it went 6x platinum

dre and snoop went on to co-headline coachella together in 2012 for another classic performance to over 100k people

dre has a good history as a performer, especially when he and snoop are together.

idk how old some of yall are, you may have missed all this.

I didn’t miss any of it. I know his history, but in terms of being a suitable performer performer for the superbowl, I’m not gonna have someone tell me they’d rather watch Dre and Snoop stand there lol

Not at all. I like Dre and Snoop. I know they’re good performers. But to say Drake isn’t a good performer with Stage presence that gets the crowd engaged is silly

Funny how everyone but Drake stans knew this was a lie from the get go

This is like when black people already knew Jussie Smollett lied but the white liberals kept believing it until the investigation proved it was a hoax

    I can
NFL source wouldn’t know as they only would be in the know for official offers

But Jay z or someone from roc reaching out for a feeler and drake saying nah is possible

I like to think in most situations 2 things are true rather than niggas lying when they got no reason to lie
