He'd actually need a much bigger venue for a show like that.
Rebel probably my least favourite venue in the city, happy to see this
2,500 is also a good capacity. Not too big but also not too small.
Shows getting announced.

He could still do a hypothetical B-side show at Danforth Music Hall or Meridan Hall
As a Torontonian, I'd much rather see more affordable housing built rather than another concert venue
Shut the f*** up holy s***
This is amazing. Toronto has had some very cool intimate clubs that have hosted some crazy shows.
Local artists. Why the f*** would I care about somebody named 24kgoldn
No one wants to go to a top 5 concert sorry dude maybe if toronto rappers made good music theyd be able to get bookings
a B-Side Drake show in an intimate venue is way more special than OVO Fest, people were already paying 2k for OVO Fest floor seats.

F*** Top5 that guy is trash. Im talking about our actual artists fam
Savannah Re, Daniel Caesar, Sean Leon, Jon Vinyl, Dylan Sinclair, Roy Woods, Party, Majid Jordan, Dvsn, Safe, Mustafa, and many more....
“Some of my most memorable shows were playing smaller rooms like History,” Drake in a statement. “I wanted to take those memories and what I learned to create an incredible experience for both the artists and the fans.”
History has been in development for over three years, with construction scheduled to be complete later this summer. The venue is situated in the east end of the city, in the heart of the Beaches neighborhood at 1663 Queen Street East.
i did not know that place existed in toronto but again i dont go all the way to the beaches area
this will take over the mod club that closed down
this will take over the mod club that closed down
Mod Club is reopening under the name Axis Club instead of closing down for good
I told MY story, and made HIStory is a triple entendre now
Mod Club is reopening under the name Axis Club instead of closing down for good
really did not know that lol so this venue will be the 4th best place to watch a concert in the city acc, skydome, budwiser stage,

These are just the artists that have booked shows with the venue. Doesn't mean there won't be rap/r&b artists booking the venue as well.
Shows getting announced.

I really hope the acoustics of the venue are great. If they are, word will spread and that'll go a great length of marketing the place. Musicians will always favor performing at a venue with good sound quality.

I know there are more bookings to come but if were basing it off the first 6 events announced, this venue looks like it isn't going to be catering to local music fans
