I guess I was using the flow of the album and crowd to base my opinion at the time. Listening to it more I can see the qualities of what makes the back half strong, there’s more melody switches and I like the approach they took but I still don’t f*** with the tempo switch. It feels disjointed compared to how the first 8 flowed, but each song can stand on its own as good. He doing some s*** in those songs that’s gonna age well
