    WESLEYS THEORY

Jimmy Cooks is hard but it really really doesn’t fit at all

I feel like the first part with the horn sample mostly fits with the vibe with drakes spacey flow, sunset sound and relatively fast tempo that would work in a club, it wouldn’t sound out of place on a dance album today imo

When it drops into 21 it strays further but it’s cool as a last track, I was expecting a usual drake rap outro

? What would you categorize them as?
Ingroso and axwell have production on more than 2 tracks almost positive of that

To call this a dance album and not Dawn fm or to overall deny the fact Abel has made house music better and for longer than drake (both of which are true) as the original person alluded to is a stretch

SHM are credited on How Do I Make You Love Me and Sacrifice

HDIMYLM is an electro-dance song, and Sacrifice is straight up disco

Tf this have in common with that cheesy 80s pop abel doing. Its house people

He did play Die For You (slowed + reverb) in his mix

    Drake loves Abel's music

Not saying they are similar tho

I think it’s a good song for what it is but I still think he should’ve ended it with the slow + reverb s***.

he's always made albums that take global sounds and popularizes them in America, but out of every album he's ever put out, this is decidedly the least "for the US" album. It's very much made for the broader world I feel. some of these tracks would go dummy hard in South America

I love jon dentons explanation of the song sounding like after a whole night of drinking at a party, youre just drunk out of ur mind and are bitter/remorseful/sad etc.

Gotta have lived it to understand it when you hear it.

has anyone made an “honestly, never mid” joke yet

i feel like it could either fit in the “call an album mid by changing the title” thread or be used as a description of Drake’s discog

Ur saying it’s never mid tho

A couple more features might have been cool tbh

I like the album but it can benefit from some features

    PND
    Rosalia
    Tems
    Rihanna
    Kali Uchis

    Would all thrive on here

Honestly this Drake album isnt bad

musically it aint the best but what I really appreciate this time around is he decided to experiment while keeping it short and cohesive

Drake hasn't done this since like what IYRTITL? But Drake gained back my respect now, kudos to him
